Artsy, nonsensical silliness with that French vibe. No one ever bathes and the worst dancing you can imagine. Deliberately.unintelligible nonsese and we don't even get to see anyone naked.

I watched this as part of the anthology "Boys on Film 21: Beautiful Secret" which I have reviewed but was so pleased to see that this short has an entry on IMDB so it can get its own review. It's certainly the second best film of the collection.
I love the clever title - I'm a translator but I can't get the sense properly over in three words but maybe in four, "Jettisoned on the Jetty". The title provided here on IMDB in English is such dross; it's not even something we would say in the language and doesn't get the sense of the film over at all. The two protagonists were perfect. Théo shone with his desperation and Giuseppe with his beauty - no, that's wrong, it's his horniness - and disillusion.
We get a clue as to the ending from tbe French title. Théo would never make a good crew member and I'm sure part of his yearning was for Giuseppe rather than the job. We are left to contemplate the one who got away and how these lads' lives continued.
