This episode is the first that Tim Matheson both appears in and directs. In fact he directs all the episodes he appears in in Burn Notice. His directing style is high action, over the top. Michael tries to protect a woman Larry is hired to kill. The mystery behind who the beautiful & deadly manipulator Carla is forcing Michael to shop for is advanced, it's an assassination, but who? Matheson shines as sort of bi-polar psychotic ex-colleague of Michael back in the day. His solution to even the tiniest problem is to kill everyone involved. The script features more than the usual hilarious dose of Sam's dry humor which always brightens any Burn Notice episode. Madeline has another therapist in to work on issues with Michael. This episode also introduces us to Fi's new boyfriend, the pleasant EMT Campbell. All in all, a great episode & Matheson is one great psycho.

As soon as i recognized that tim matheson was in this episode i knew it was going to be a big waste of time ... matheson's ego is only overcome by his ineptness as an actor or comedian .. what he's in a spy thriller is beyond all comprehension for anyone that has seen his other pathetic performances ... skip any episode he's in
