Absolutely brilliant
ak202023 February 2020
This is a "must watch", tense, dramatic, relevant and a brilliant plot. But, it needs to be seen from the first series on - it will be too difficult to pick up starting from series 3.

Whilst it is in Norwegian (with English sub-titles), the dialogue switches between Norwegian, English and Russian, and this does not detract from the quality of the production.

Entertaining, but flawed

Warning: Spoilers
An exciting plot, many good episodes. Thrilling at times. Some logical and factual errors are mildly irritating. Some character development, but should have been utilized much more (24 episodes). The last episode was a huge letdown, with illogical choices and an another irritating open end. Losing interest in the story during the last of 24 episodes is a new experience.

Ane Dahl Torp, Ingeborga Dapkunaite and Selome Emnetu are brilliant. Kudos to the producers for bringing in fresh actors, and some familiar faces in an unfamiliar setting.

The panoramas are fantastic (thank you, drones). Beautifully shot.
