This beef has gone bad.

Beef 4 is BY FAR, the worst of the series. Arguably these 4 films could have been made into 1 or 2 good movies by discounting all the "third rate beefs", and having some more real insight into the actual beefs that have occurred. From cat-fight three way "Queen of the South" (???) beefs to total nobodies you can watch on Youtube, all the way to laughable skater vs. Pharrell beefs. The history of the screw-tapes and the Dirty South bit was interesting enough, as well the PROOF segment at the end seems legit and genuinely sad, but much too little and a lot too late. (Like covering the Kurupt and Daz beef. Ten year old minor beefs do NOT require a space on this DVD). I am pretty sure that this entry has put a hit out on the idea of anymore to follow which is a causality I really don't mind. The beef is dry and lacking any real flavor, I am now a vegetarian.

Producers trying to milk a dead cow

Beef 1 and 2 were solid documentaries documenting interesting beefs between rappers and figuring out why they started etc

Beef 3 felt like leftover material beefs that just weren't as interesting as the beefs that made the final cut in Beef 2, but still not as bad this one

In this one Beef 4 they are just grasping for straws, in one segment they have current one hit wonders Khia and Jackie-O bitching about how they are the queen of the south and not Trina, that's it 2 supposedly grown women nagging about how they should be called the queen of the south and Trina defending her status

Another beef they bring up is Skateboarders vs Pharrel and Lupe Fiasco, neither Lupe or Pharrel are interviewed only skateboarders who questions Lupe's skatingskills among other things... They seem like a cool bunch of people I'd rather see a documentary about just them, but their "beef" with Pharrell and Lupe is just remotely interesting

Then they go make a beef section about LL Cool J fighting Jamie Foxx during the making of ANY GIVEN Sunday, SMH... And NEITHER of them is interviewed

At one point they start bringing up David CHAPPELLE vs COMEDY CENTRAL, but even the people they interview about it realise how ridiculous it is and burst out laughing

And The Game is there yet again bringing up an old tired beef with Ras Kass, both of them are actually present which is positive for once but they both seem a little tired to talk about it

It's not all bad though, I did enjoy the JAY-Z vs DAME DASH segment (even if only Dame was present) and the KURUPT vs DAZ segment (even tho it was a long time ago and only Daz is present), the CHAMILLIONAIRE vs PAUL WALL (even tho Paul Wall is only present) and the PROOF segment in the end...

But yeah that's about it, and that only covers up a little less than half of the running time, so it gets a little boring at times, and I think that the fact that in almost all of the beefs only 1 person in the beef is interviewed doesn't help either

One thing that's also bad about the third and fourth movie is that they don't have the money to use the diss songs so they just speak OF songs but no clips of the actual disses are heard, which is another fail
