Kim and Craig are monopolizing the phone so Lucy agrees they may have their own phones if they get jobs to pay for them.
This seems like a very "busy" episode even though - except for one office scene - it all takes place in the Carter living room. Normally the "animal" shows don't come off very well but this one has some good things going for it. First, the chimp is real and I've noticed that always works better than when we get Jonas Prohaska in another gorilla suit. It allows Lucy to show a tender side when bonding with the animal (see also THE LUCY SHOW's "Lucy the Babysitter"). Also, the wisecracking parrot and mynah bird add to the humor without feeling forced.
Craig wears a pair of wild blue and black striped pants in this episode.
