- Two series of socioplay by Ottavio Rosati about the neurological origins of emotions, according to Jaak Panksepp with scenes of the play "Grandi Feste con Fuoco" about the writer Fernanda Pivano and her secrets.
- A double series of socioplays and videoplays directed by Ottavio Rosati about the discoveries of Jaak Panksepp (1943) the American psychologist, psychobiologist and researcher in neuroscience who has proved that, in the most primitive mammals as well as in human beings, there are seven main neuro circuits or neuronal systems of emotions. Panksepp coined the term "Affective Neuroscience" which outlines a new field of study and research into the neural mechanisms of emotions and their evolution. In his last books "Affective Neuroscience" (2004) and "A Textbook of Biological Psychiatry" (2014), Panksepp exposes the evolution of neurocircuits that underlie the main emotions and identifies the seven main "emotional systems" that regulate the various aspects of our life, highlighting how their alterations and inhibitions are at the origin of the main psychosomatic dysfunctions and psychological disorders. These seven main neurocircuits or emotional systems, renamed by Panksepp using a capital nomenclature, are: 1) the system of RESEARCH, desire and euphoria, linked to Dopamine. 2) the system of ANGER and dominance, linked to testosterone and serotonin 3) the system of FEAR and anxiety, linked to cortsolo, 4) the system of SEXUALITY and craving, linked to sex hormones, 5) CARE the system of loving kindness, linked to oxytocin 6) the system of SADNESS, panic and effective solitude, linked to absence 7) the system of PLAY, fantasy and joy, linked to dopamine and endorphine. Panksepp, supported by a large mass of experimental data, pointed out that it is easy to elicit strong emotional reactions by using localized electrical stimulation (ESB) of specific areas of the brain. The socioplays include scenes of the play "Grandi Feste con Fuoco" about the writer Fernanda Pivano and the director Ottavio Rosati.—Ottavio Rosati
- Jaak Panksepp (1943) is an American psychologist, psychobiologist and researcher in neuroscience at Washington State University, and Emeritus professor in the Department of Psychology at Bowling Green State University. Panksepp's main contribution is to have shown that, in the most primitive mammals as well as in human beings, there are seven main neuro circuits or neuronal systems of emotions. Panksepp coined the term "A ective ective Neuroscience" which outlines a new field of study and research into the neural mechanisms of emotions and their evolution. In his last book "The Archeology of Mind", (2012), Panksepp exposes the evolution of neurocircuits that underlie the main emotions and identifies the seven main neurocircuits or "emotional systems" that regulate the various aspects of our life, highlighting how their alterations and inhibitions are at the origin of the main psychosomatic dysfunctions and psychological disorders. These seven main neurocircuits or emotional systems, renamed by Panksepp using a capital nomenclature, are: 1) the system of RESEARCH, desire and euphoria, linked to dopamine, 2) the system of ANGER and dominance, linked to testosterone and serotonin, 3) the system of FEAR and anxiety, linked to cortIsolo, 4) the system of SEXUALITY and craving, linked to sex hormones, 5) the system of CARE, loving kindness, linked to oxytocin, 6) the system of SADNESS, panic and effective solitude, linked to absence, 7) the system of PLAY, fantasy and joy, linked to dopamine and endorphine. Panksepp, supported by a large mass of experimental data, pointed out that it is easy to elicit strong emotional reactions by using localized electrical stimulation (ESB) of specific areas of the brain. From these researches the seven types of primary emotional systems described above have been described: SEARCH / DESIRE, ANGER / DOMINANCE, FEAR / ANXIETY, SEXUALITY / DESIRE, AFFECTION / LOVE, SADNESS / PANIC, PLAY / FANTASY. In 2019 Rosati presenting the DVD of Moreno and Rossellini's "The Psychodrame" at the Turin Film Festival [23] and at the Rome Film Festival, [24] announces' The Theater of Time 'as a spin off of' Da Storia Nasce History ': "Thirty years later, the shooting angles of the group are multiplied thanks to the new digital tools; for the pilot series on Seven Emotions made in 2019 at the Off Off Theater in Rome and at the Monte dei Paschi di Siena Foundation, we used the group's smart phones instead of the heavy cameras of 'Da Storia born Storia'. Moreno would have been delighted. "
