I've been fascinated with the lost colony of Roanoke, and a few years ago read some books about the theories of what happened to them. Here Zachary Quinto (who kind of looks like Leonard Nimoy, and in fact Quinto played Mr Spock in the Star Trek reboot movies, and like Leonard Nimoy, is now hosting the reboot (the second reboot) of In Search Of...) explores the theories through artefacts and also DNA extracts.
This episode has more substance than other In Search Of... episodes, and it's a shame it didn't run into part 2 like one of the other ones did.
