The ingredients of the crime are something of value, and a person willing to take some risk to get possession of it. On January twenty-seventh, Rita Hudson, employed by the International Diamond Imports Company, arrived at the railroad station to claim a shipment of diamonds consigned to her firm - a very simple procedure involving no risk, since only Rita and her employer knew what the parcel contained.
