A loudmouth father of one of the students named Sharon pressures her into going to college while she would rather be a hair stylist.

An amusing episode, the father is played by character actor Bruce Kirby who guested on many TV shows of the time. Liz is also pestered by him to convince Sharon to take college prep. Funniest scene is when Sharon trys out her beauty skills and turns Alice into a blonde.

Medicine balls and gym suits

Liz has her hands full with screaming juveniles and parents in this episode dealing with an obnoxious father from hell. He wants his daughter to go to college but she wants to go to beauty school. He is good hearted but you want Liz to smack him one. This dad from hell refuses to give her a voice in anything just barking out orders like a drill sergeant and not caring about her dreams. The comic element of this episode is when Sharon turns our dear Alice Johnson into a blond (whether she has more fun is up to question). Liz finally loses her objectivity and tells the dumbo dad he is bullying her and driving her away. I hope he listened.
