Life Nora, but not as we know it.

Kevin firmly believes that aliens are operating in The Yorkshire dales, Clegg is convinced he's spotted one at his window.

It's definitely one of the daft episodes, the plot is silly, but there are some nice things going on here. The squeak on Howard's bike is funny, and I loved the scene where Ivy and Nora reminisce about past loves.

I've been rewatching classic comedy in loving memory, in which Christopher Beeny of course appears, he does a decent job here as the alien obsessed anorak Kevin.

There could well have been a few aliens operating in the area, 6/10.

Will the Nearest Alien Please Come In

Not for the first time a man has arrived in the Yorkshire Dales looking for alien life.

Kevin is the latest who has travelled all the way from Luton. He soon discovers that the women in these parts are sure to scare off alien life forms.

Of course the Truly and co gently mock him and help him with his quest. Entwistle even pretends to be an alien by having a blank look.

Meanwhile Howard has trouble getting rid off a squeaky noise from his bike. Glenda is upset at Barry as he spends a lot of time stargazing.

A suitably daft episode. Truly even slides down a hill in an office chair. Alvin pretends that he has a woman in his house to make Nora Batty jealous.

Mark Curry was better known as a presenter for Blue Peter.
