Glenn tells Amy that Oscar the Grouch grew up in a trashcan and still turned out alright. According to Oscar the Grouch's fictional biography, he grew up in a fictional place called Grouch Land, in a home with his family. He began living in a trashcan when he moved to Sesame Street.
Amy states that Parker's daycare only has 7 children attending, so the ratio of carers to babies is good. Dina counters that Jerusha is watching Rose 1-on-1, so the ratio is 7 times better. This assumes that Parker's daycare is run by a single individual, which is unlikely. Even having 2 carers there would cut the ration down to 3.5-to-1.
While handing out shift assignments while holding Parker, Amy starts asking Sarah, "Can you stock the..." and then is interrupted by Sayid. When Amy returns to reading assignments, she begins by telling Cheyenne and Sandra to serve snacks. She never finishes telling Sarah what she wants her to stock.
