Is there even a point in claiming this episode is the best yet, when this beautiful unique series keeps surpassing itself in every episode!? Started with showing us the intelligent, deceit filled side of a political power struggle in all its violent glory, but ended with such an unexpectedly poignant scene. The accursed existence of a warrior, filled with empty promises of glory, through all the exhilirating fights, the plundering and looting, is in its essence, a bottomless pit of sheer loneliness, and they don't even have one person they can truly call a friend.

I would say this was one of the best episodes but just about every episode in this anime is great. Once again proving that this is one of the best anime of the year or at the very least the most slept on of the year.
