Too Bad McGarrett Not In This
shelbythuylinh25 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
As a trio of rogue CIA agents try to round up the rest of Five 0 and that Tani and Quinn are the only ones left. Still they have to find someone to trust and that it is Magnum and his friends as they take over with Junior kidnapped as leverage.

As the CIA wants that nook list as really they do not care for Junior's life. But if they had McGarrett and the other leads, it would had gotten them out in a heartbeat there.

Love it when Rick hit on Quinn during their lives at stake there. LOL.

One of The Best Episodes ever and of this season so far!!!
batmancrap4 January 2020
This was an amazing episode! Great moments between the Magnum team and Five-O! Also, this one had all of what I loved about Magum PI in an episode with Magnum and Higgins bouncing off each other real well in terms of comedy and dialogue. Magnum and Katsumoto working together is always funny and cool to see! The action was also really good in this one as well with Magnum thinking on his feet in an intense last second situation! The subtle hints at Magnum and Higgins becoming a couple are great as long as they save them getting together for the series finale. Best episode since the first 4 episodes of the season! Hope this momentum continues!!!

Great remake of the original show

I would like to see more of TC and Rick. Although I do like the show without more TC and Rick it really loses a lot of interest for me to continue watching.

So So Episode but Lacked Five 0 Leads
ShelbyTMItchell11 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Some corrupt CIA agents tried to take over with the main Five 0 leads rounded up and in the younger ones of Tani, Junior, and new agent Liu and in the going to Magnum and his buddies for help.

As Junior is kidnapped over leverage of a CIA nook list that Five 0 kept from falling into the wrong hands. And both cast members team up in order to save Junior from his kidnappers and release the rest of the Five 0 team

Glad to see Magnum and Detective Gordon K love/hate relationship work and in the bickering there. As not yet but they the producers and audience want Magnum and Higgins to get together. But that would end the show.

Still hate that Five 0 was canceled. But it was enjoyable.

Half Hearted Crossover
jacks-0012826 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
A crossover episode without the main characters of the other series is not worth doing. The storyline is ready made for inclusion of Jerry Ortega working together with the (pathetic remake of the) Higgins character. It is also difficult to accept the familiarity of the two different character sets without any prior introduction. Attention to Katsumoto's relationship with McGarrett and the Five-Oh crew would have been very worthwhile - it is given one vague and weak line of dialogue from Katsumoto. Use of an overreaching CIA operating illegally on domestic soil is trite and overdone and begins to become grating - certainly creative folks can be more creative.

Combi with Hawaii 5-0
zappapappa-528-9511614 January 2020
Is it really necessary to get viewers involved in another series? I liked Magnum so far, never liked Hawaii 5-0 but now I have to watch the "combi cast". No thanks, I´m out.
