Not just boring but stupid

Start with poor production. The background music often doesn't fit and is even slightly annoying at times. Lighting is often bad. The sound on dialogue is hollow. A lot of unnatural and clumsy posturing of the actors. Lame daydream sequences that interrupt natural flow.

There are spots where the acting all around is horrible. (The dog is good though.)

The story has too much mundane activity like cooking, driving, walking around town and shopping. Show us some spark between the characters instead of inane conversation. Kissing alone doesn't show connection. Worse, the story just doesn't make sense.

June is cute but is a total airhead.

I don't often say a movie is a waste of time. Not necessarily even if I hate it. But this movie was a total waste.

a Pointless Movie

It is difficult to attribute any positive comments to this very simple and simplistic film. Other than the luscious Florida scenery and beautiful colors, there seems no point to this movie. The lead actress is attractive in a sort of clueless, dreamy way..Her constant changes of clothing a distraction from her complete lack of depth or character. She continues to simply flaunt her petite, toned body in skimpy bikini bathing suits. She appears to live in a moment to moment dream world of romantic fantasy with no substance whatsoever. The leading man, if one can call him that, is also attractive but is monosyllabic and as hollow as an empty box. There is no meaningful dialogue between him and the female lead. A much more substantial young man enters the picture and offers the young woman an opportunity to experience an intelligent, realistic relationship. Fast forward..the heroine achieves a professional milestone that is like a deus ex machine..( a god falling from the sky)..completely unexpected and strangely undeserved, give her constant cooking failures and gaffes. The largest mistake the movie makes is her choice of lover..a completely unexplainable end to the film Advice? Do not waste 2 hours of your life watching this foolish film. ..You will never get them back again.
