Like any parent child relationships that's strained they either spend there whole life not talking to their parent or make peace. The story at first seemed like her father just wanted to cash in, but inside he cries out for closeness he once had. After viewing his side I believe he was just trying to create a better image of himself because he felt he was embarrassing his daughter and was setup by media. He found it hard to contact his daughter, which has caused the offers of money and speculating about his side of the story, pushed him to set the record straight. He talks about how he could not attend the wedding due to his heart surgery and you could see how much pain, upset that has caused him. The best thing Megan could do would be set up a meeting and end this rift, but like her father said it probably will be his funeral. I think if she does not end this rift she probably regret it latter,i just hope that she watches this program and finally does the right thing for her and not let media win. If anything this documentary show what a great personality Megan has and why Harry loves her and that her father and her have both found it hard to just live a normal life in this media storm. I think what U.K have lost is Canada's gain and hope now that they can get on with the good work they do for charity without negative media.

It shows how cruel Meghan and Harry were to him after his heart attack that jeopardise his life ( as the medical records show) They only texted him to say "do not talk to other people" and basically did not wanted any form of contact with him. Thomas has to apologise for his heart attack and he is now being sued by them for a letter he finally sent him in 2018. This letter full of hurtful words towards him was written with the aim of causing him more heart trouble, leave him aged 75 with permanent sadness and heartbroken. I personally think she is a narcissist as many actors and Hollywood celebrities are, but she seems to enjoy hurting others. Harry is over sensitive and deserves understanding as an orphan, but Harry contributed to cause Thomas more pain during difficult times.

This was well made and gave Thomas Markle the space to tell his story.
There are a few occasions when on screen text states that others have a different recollection of events (e.g. whether Meghan was living with her father in the period immediately prior to her going to university). Overall, it's difficult to judge who is the wronged party. It seems Harry and Meghan had some unrealistic expectations of how Mr Markle would behave in the absence of a minder. But, perhaps equally, Mr Markle had some unrealistic expectations of how he would be protected from the press.
It does feel like there is no way back for the relationship between father and daughter and perhaps Mr Markle needs to retreat to his memories (and videos) of her early teenage years, when their relationship appeared to be a strong and loving one.
So, while this wouldn't help a juror in the case of Markle v Markle, it is definitely worth a watch by anyone who's moderately invested in the subject matter.

What went down with Thomas Markle and the wedding. As we've seen, he keeps calling up the press and selling interviews and photos, claiming that Meghan's been ignoring him. Meghan's friends call bullsh-t. With specifics.
TEXTS SHOW Meg was desperate to get in touch with him. Yeah, he did what HATEFUL Sam told him to do, knowing that Sam always hated Meg. OK.
The Saturday before the wedding, Meg and Harry were told that a story was going to come out the next day saying that Tom was staging pictures with the paparazzi. Lainey: which he ended up admitting. Their team told them that if the story was fake, they could file a complaint.
So Meg calls Tom and asks him, and he's swearing up and down that it's not true. The next day the pictures come out. Even with all that, Meghan and Harry were still so focused on getting him to London. At no point was there talk of "Now that we know he lied, he's in trouble". Tom wouldn't take her calls, wouldn't take Harry's calls.
The next morning when the car got there to take him to the airport, he wouldn't get in. Later Meg heard he had a heart attack and she's calling and texting, even up to the night before the wedding. It was like, "Please pick up. I love you and I'm scared". It was endless. After the wedding she wrote him a letter. Queen told her to.

Because every time her team has to come to her and fact-check something he has said, it's an arrow to the heart. He writes her a really long letter in return, and he closes it by requesting a photo op with her. And she feels like, "That's the opposite of what I'm saying. I'm telling you I don't want to communicate through the media, and you're asking me to communicate through the media. Did you hear anything I said?" It's almost like they're ships passing. He knows how to get in touch with her. Her telephone number hasn't changed. He's never called; he's never texted.
Remember, Thomas Markle's sob story has been that he keeps trying to contact her and she won't answer. So who's lying here? Meghan and her friends or the dude who already lied about staging pap photos and who's always getting his close-up on TV?

The upside is that Meghan's circle is getting to address the f-ck sh-t that's been happening recently. The downside? Thomas Markle is going to dial up his friends at the Daily Mail and the Sun and Piers Morgan and they're not going to ask him the tough questions and challenge him - it doesn't serve their purpose. So, probably by the weekend, we'll be hearing from him again. And then a fresh wave of mess will be upon us.
