Boyd, still investigating the murders, now has the attempted suicide to consider. Spencer leaves with one clue, Midnight Pearl.
It's a great episode, it's dramatic, complex, it's heart breaking, the scenes with Nina Wadia's Mrs Mehta are so sad, so moving. It is a complex case, it's perhaps a little challenging to follow at times, but it comes together in a very satisfying way. I really enjoyed it, I felt like it had a lot of variety.
I love the way that Esther Hall plays Felix, the character really did have a bad deal, she's not trusted, she's not welcome, and she feels it. Intense scenes between her and Boyd.
I liked David Williams playing a serious part, definitely know as a comedy actor, and now a novelist and panelist, but he's good. Boyd's scenes with the beautiful Sara Stewart were great I thought.
Overall, it's hard to fault, excellent episode, 9/10.
