I'll say that Junior Reigns and Tani Rey's friendship had taken a much deeper turn; upon his arrival from overseas in his Navy battle dress uniform, he was met by his favorite colleague Tani Rey, and they drove off in her SVU. Instead of just shaking hands and exchanging a friendly kiss, he directed her to a secluded beach that was blessedly unknown to tourists from the mainland; one thing led to another, and in the patois of the ghetto, they "got their freak on". It was way more than that. It was a communion of bodies and souls, and they were transported to innumerable galaxies of passionate delight. And in the aftermath, they realized that they had a full-blown love affair. It had been the 500-pound gorilla in the room. Now all they had to do was try to sneak their romance past their boss man Steve McGarrett, his sidekick Danny Williams, along with Adam Noshimuri, Quinn Liu, Duke Lukela, that lovable pathologist Noelani Cunha, and intrepid businessman Kanekona Tupola. Memo to Junior and Tani: fat chance. That was the best part of this recent episode, where somebody is committing a series of murders in the style of a 1920s mystery novel. Great episode.
