I was watching a S2 catch up video and forgot how much I hated Isaac for what he did with the voicemail. I really entered this season hoping the opening scene is Isaac rolling down the street in a ball of flames. Nice intro regardless though lol.

Good episode (with a few exceptions)

Warning: Spoilers
The episode was interesting enough. Seems like a good start for the season.
There are a few things I didn't like.
The beginning was too vulgar for my liking. We get it, everybody's having sex. It's getting old really fast. I much more enjoyed the scenes with Dex. It was funny, interesting and easy to relate to.
I don't like the new headmaster. She is not cool, it's totally fake. Plus even if she was, I don't like cool teachers. People think students can relate to them more but that's not true. Otis told her that the clinic is still running and her solution was to destroy the bathroom? How is that solving anything? It's idiotic. It is also implied that she is racist.
I was disappointed that Otis and Maeve didn't talk about the voicemail. It seems unreasonable that he didn't say anything about it. People don't just move on without talking about something like this. I assume it's going to come up in the next few episodes but I wish they wouldn't drag it so much.
I also have to agree with the reviewer who wrote that it's REALLY annoying to see characters start an important sentence and then change the subject. They do this all the time. Either say something or not but stop messing with us.

What an awesome return!

There was a lot of hype for the new season after a successful first two seasons and frankly some worry that it may not be able to keep up the same quality but the first episode looks very promising. Some new characters and dynamics have been introduced and existing ones have further been developed or sent on a new track. The dialogue and chemistry is the same as ever. Looking forward to the rest of the season.
GREAT BEGINNING!

A great start. I was too much hyped for this season and I know everyone was. They make the first episode very satisfying. Love to see Otis and his mustache. I think the other episodes of the season are going to be great!
But! WTF was the intro man! Shocked and laughed at the same time. 🤣

What a status upgrade for the man!!
Wondering who the new girl is!
New headmaster is an interesting character. Blowing up the toilet doesn't strike me as the finest solution but ok.
I'm so pissed about Isaac. What a loser.

I found the intro unnecessary, the season 2 intro was neat because it showed us otis' development that we didn't get to see, but this intro showed that... People are having sex? I mean we already know that. It's also too long, I feel like they should've cut it at some point and it would be suffice, but other than those two complaints it was pretty good.
The first half of the episode was meh, couldn't care less for the previous headmaster stuff (forgot his name) . It really picked up after the naked dex part tho, thought it was really funny, the episode ending with the bathrooms being destroyed was a perfect end for the premiere for me.

great, but some unnecessary parts

Great start to the new season: Characters on point, fresh stroyline, great soundtrack...
but there are some things which annoyed me:
The storyline with headmaster groff is really not catching up to all the other storylines. It seems boring and like a filler.
Also should the starting scene be way shorter. Like yeah alright we get it, they have sex.
But over and all looking forward to the following episodes.

Damnnnnnnnnnnn, WHAT A RETURN!!!

The cliché and the obvious are couple tonight.
sebaconagui23 September 2021
Typical cliche for teenagers. The solid plot of past seasons is weakly replaced by injected scenes of unreal and fanciful sex that only gives time to think about the obvious thing that will happen in the next few minutes. The persecution against the former director becomes worthy of the most classic episode of "Tom & Jerry"
Accelerated..

IT'S BACK!!!!

Season 3 starts off so strong. I've built it up a lot in my head after the anticipation, but this definitely delivers. The only thing is, I feel like the principal is going to act like she's cool at first but then become a more Umbridge-like character. I would be more surprised if she were to actually be as chill as she seems.
Not all about sex

Sex Education: Third Season on Netflix brings a whole new chapter to life with these lovable characters. This season we find Otis played by Asa Butterfield having the hottest girlfriend in school by his side played by Mimi Keene. Ever since Maeve (Emma Mackey) had not received Otis's message, he moved on to a better life with with Mimi only to face his love dilemma to follow his heart. The school he attends has a new headmaster who plans to change the school philosophy and the public image from a sex school to a uniformed and highly educational institution. The storyline develops deep character insights and highly emotional stances between sexual attractions and sexual identities. In the meantime we find Gillian Andersen pregnant at her age and dealing with a partner that doesn't want to do anything with her. I love this series, it brought another another level to the story besides sex. Sex is not something we should be ashamed of rather taught so that the kids could make better choices. Definitely add this to your list.
Worst season ever.

Vulgar
michaelfarrell19 September 2021
Season 3 takes this series to a new low. Vulgarity is the lowest form of humour. The sex scenes are gratuitous and the visual equivalent of hyperbole. If this disgusting series needs to resort to graphic sex to pull its audience and laughs, then it's writers should be ashamed. There is no creativity here. Just crass superficial rubbish.
SO MUCH GUY ASS
pdx_vw_erik10 January 2022
I swear, there should be a rule, if you show me a hairy guy's ass, you have to follow it up with breasts.
Also, Ruby shows up for a quicky in a car wearing a onesie, if a girl shows up for a quicky in a car in a onesie, you can be assured you're not getting any,.
