Warning: Spoilers
Gai's team and Kakashi's analyze the situation, they realize that the real Kisame and Itachi were not actually present, and that the attack was a distraction, used to win time. Gai doesn't know why, while Neji deduces they used a powerful justu to replace bodies. But Chiyo realizes the reason: the Akatsuki needed more time to extract the Shukaku from Gaara, while using a powerful sealing jutsu. She explains how they could try in the future to create another jinchuriki to control such power. But the worst part, she answers Sakura's question of what happens to the person, the jinchuriki when the extraction ends: they die. This revelation is shocking. One could say that it doesn't make sense because the tailed beast and the person are two different beings, but considering how dependant or related became the two beings, it's logical. Orochimaru mentioned in the first part (while fighting Tsunade) that killing Naruto would be bad for the Akatsuki. In that case the Fox would disappear only to reappear somewhere else, an unknown place. So if the opposite happens, the person must disappear/die too because depends from the beast, one being keeps the other, and they can switch concience. Anyway, this revelation leaves Naruto silent, while Sakura is stunned and in tears. The idea of losing him forever hits hard on her. Plus, the fact that such powerful persons are after him, is news to her. Naruto pretends, and tells her not to worry because he'll save Gaara, but he chooses to avoid the fact that her tears and worries are about him. For me this is the one of the various moments when Sakura shows her love for Naruto. Her love, worrying, caring is genuine, she's aware of everything now, she finally understands how he feels about his life as jinchuriki. He quietly recognizes how tears fall easy from her, but this time, are for him (plus she's more mature than 3 years ago, so her tears now mean more). Then, Chiyo sends a message to Suna with a puppet bird, and they set to leave. At the sundown, Kakashi realizes that Naruto is tired given the big rasengan, so he decides to take a rest. Chiyo agrees, as they need to be prepared to face the villains who took Gaara. Gai's team does the same, as Neji and Pakkun notice how tired Gai was after opening 6 gates of chakra. Lee and Tenten are also aware of the situation, so they don't argue. I remember how some people always recalled that Tenten didn't appear much, but in this arc, she had the same protagonism than Lee.

The rest of the episode shows a meeting on Suna. The council discuss Chiyo's message, where she told thay Yura was found and used. They realize how the enemy infiltrated, and Ebiso (Chiyo's brother) guesses that Yura was under a jutsu. But seems that the message didn't mention about Gaara's possible death, so an impatient member of the council suggests they'd be better without Gaara and the Shukaku. Kankuro grows angry, and the others recall how the powerful Third Kazekage was also taken away, and that led to a war. Chiyo mentioned that the past jinchuriki of the Shukaku died when the Shukaku was extracted, so this revelation heavily implies that the 3rd Kazekage was one of them. His body never was recovered. At the end, Kankuro asks for patience, the borders are assured, and he still hopes his brother can be saved. In the meantime, Zetsu recovers the bodies used by Itachi and Kisame, and is surprised to see the result of Gai's attack. This part if the episode wasn't excellent, but the destiny of the 3rd Kazekage adds more darkness to the story. Who extracted the beast before?? That's a question that will never be answered.
