Okay...

It's nice and all.. but, i don't think there's a solid story in this anime. Maybe it's just too much with the girl characters and i can't see the value of the story. It's getting boring and annoying sometimes, but it's one of the anime you can add to your watchlist for the experience.

Like "Urusei yatsura", but Ecchi!

It's like "Urusei yatsura", but Ecchi and with a female lead less jaelous and more oppai, so it's better!

By the way, "TO LOVE RU" is also the name of the alien spaceships OS, and stand for: (T)echnlogy of (O)ver (L)evel (O)peration for (V)ery heavy command to (E)lectronic unit control Unit (RU)...RU!? RU RU (RUN)

Repetitive

Rating: 5.0

Favorite Episode: Maiorita shôjo

It's a rom-com ecchi so the plot usually isn't good but this one really wasn't good. It's just too repetitive almost every episode Rito see's some boobs freaks out like he doesn't see them every other hour, gets slapped, apologizes, conveniently falls on the some boobs again rinse and repeat. Lala's gadgets are just dues ex machina's and Rito irritates the viewer with some of the stupid decisions he makes. The earth depended on him being an actual man and this dude spends weeks going on adventures with Lala rather than training for King Devilukes return. Of course he was only saved by the power of friendship for this subplot. Haruna's just a damsell in distress but some of the other characters like Golden Darkness and Kotagawa were interesting to watch. The show also can't decide whether or not people know about aliens or don't flip-flopping and contradicting established logic early on.

Pure fun.

I loved this series. Even tho is is an ecchi it's a comedy first and foremost putting comedy laughs before fan service. Most laughs and smiles I've gotten from an anime. It is NOT for anyone wants any kind of serious story or character development tho it does have a fun beginning story thru the end and the characters do progress some but its more about crazy laughs and fun then all that. It's about a super shy boy and a fun loving alien princess and his school crush. The fate of the world may hang on his choices! Other boys and girls and aliens try and get in the mix and it's downright fun. One of the best opening songs in anime as I'm humming the tune often. Highly recommend. 26 episodes long.

Utter stupidity
Lordoffries1 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I just don't understand how someone so mind-numbingly clumsy and stupid isn't already dead. The main character has absolutely no spine and 99% of all the conflicts would be resolved if he didn't act like a 5 year old and would actually stand up for himself. The story is decent but the constant fumbles and stumbles of the main character got old after the second episode and completely ruined the show.

It's a good anime that has a large amount of fan service which makes it a r rated anime. It has a good plot and I would still want some more seasons of it.

Good Story, combined with much fan service

I watched To Love Ru Season 1 a few years back and didn't really like it, but that has changed after I rewatched it and saw what great comedy it has to offer. The story is fairly interesting and goes deeper the more you think about it. The story is mostly covered by adult homour which is perfect relief from the actual story. To anyone that hasn't watched yet, I can definetly recommend it.

I would recommend it.

I liked the show very much but the last 2 episodes (episodes 25 and 26) I didn't really like it. I wished they had changed the scripts for those last 2 episodes plus there are 2 other unneccessary episodes that I think had nothing to do with the main script and plot structure. Overal the other episodes are amazing, I loved it.
