Elena was a medical student during production of the film. To accommodate her schedule half the film was shot over 10 days in June 2005 and the rest was shot sporadically on her days off from the hospital over the following 12 months.
Paul Johnson was originally a member of the crew, but was cast as Cameron when the original actor dropped out.
Melissa Pace was originally contacted to help score the film (she's a great local Jazz singer). She was cast as Abby because she was able to deliver the line "Children starving in Africa? They don't know it's Christmas" correctly making an allusion to the 80's Christmas pop song.
The animation during the opening credits were produced on Flash by Mark Richardson
The film raised close to $3,000 to benefit the Utah Pride Center when it screened to a packed house at the Tower Theater during Winterpride 2008.
