Tom Silver's who's been fund-raising for a search, has been discredited, and made out to have stolen the funds, his mother breaks down during the Funeral. Francis Main has met up with a hit-man, tasked with clearing up. Martin is perplexed as to why his father has a huge bundle of cash hidden. People are still refusing to believe the Caistor has gone, there is still hope. Main continues to meet with USSR agent, Rokoff. A lengthy inquest finds there to be no political involvement. The wife of a crew member who received a letter is killed in a house explosion.

I am a big fan of Jean Boht, and she puts in a very passionate performance as the lost 'Paul's mum.' Some may say a little guilty of overacting a bit, but it was very heartfelt.

The explosion at the House was excellently done, talk about big scale with a bang. A very enjoyable second installment in the saga, more questions are being asked, and no answers given. Wonderfully moody and engaging once again.
