- Sarah turns to a UFO convention for answers about the "three dots," more details about Riley's mission are revealed, and Ellison begins working with Catherine Weaver's AI prototype, "John Henry."
- Sarah attends a UFO convention hoping to get information on the three dots. She is pointed in the direction of Abraham, a blogger who has written about them. Only problem is no one quite knows who or where he is. At home, John is re-decorating his room with Riley's help, always under the watchful eye of Cameron. Through flashbacks, we learn more about the connection between Riley and Jesse. Now that Catherine Wheeler's AI computer has taken humanoid form in what was Cromartie, she wants Ellison to teach it ethics.—garykmcd
- Still obsessing about the mysterious three-dot symbol, Sarah travels to a UFO convention for answers about what the three dots mean and she has a run-in with a shady trans-gender woman, named Ellen Park, who claims to know a little about some government work she did involving alien technology. But Sarah's search only leads to more questions then answers as she struggles to know who really is behind everything and who is the mysterious assassin out to kill Park. Meanwhile, Riley's background is revealed as her growing up in post-Nuclear Fire L.A. and her mission of how she time traveled back with Jesse to keep John away from Cameron. Cameron begins to express suspicion about Riley, but naturally John doesn't want to listen. Elsewhere, Ellison meets Catherine Weaver's new A.I. prototype which is the reprogrammed Cromarte which Ellison, although doubtful, feels that he has a chance to make the former Terminator express feelings and reason.—Anonymous
- The show opens with Sarah at a UFO-related conference asking about the fact people have recently reported seeing the three-dot design from her basement on alien spacecraft. One of the presenters shows pictures of the three-dotish ships, telling Sarah their flight capabilities are superior to anything made by the military. He tells her about the blogger named Abraham, who on his website claims to have worked on a top secret alien-center project that included a hyper-alloy metal. The man tells Sarah Abraham disappeared after a few initial blogs, but a woman approaches Sarah with more info on Abraham.
Sarah calls a skeptical John to tell him she's going to investigate Abraham. While helping him do some painting, Riley tells John she lost her cool with her foster family and complains about their naiveté. Cameron comes into the room and is quickly (and rudely) shooed away by John.
We flash to the future where Jesse grabs a filthy Riley who appears to scrounging for food.
The woman from the convention brings Sarah to her trailer home where she has an extensive collection of various photos of the spacecraft. The woman, Eileen, tells Sarah Abraham was the pseudonym for an MIT-educated researcher named Alan Park who specialized in Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR), which is similar to radar but with a focus on robots.
Flashback (I guess) to Jesse time traveling with Riley to the present time. Riley seems fascinated by everything in Jesse's hotel room. Jesse gets her cleaned up and puts her into bed.
Back to present day with John and Riley painting one of the rooms. John spots a bruise on Riley's face which she tells him not to worry about.
Weaver is in Day 2 of trying to convince Ellison to work with John Henry. Though he is wary given John Henry's Cromartie exterior, Ellison seems to warm to the idea given that this is no longer Cromartie and he will have the opportunity to teach the A.I. right from wrong.
Eileen takes Sarah to a diner Abraham used to frequent. While Eileen is in the restroom, Sarah has a vision of herself sitting across the table with a Rambo knife spinning on the table. Sarah follows Eileen into the bathroom, asking if she knows the whereabouts of Abraham. Eileen pulls her head up from the sink and with make-up running down her (his?) face says: "I'm Abraham, I'm the one you're looking for"
Park tells Sarah that he has used the female disguise to hide from unknown enemies. After MIT he received money from a company that needed his expertise on LIDAR. Park said he was working with technology he'd never seen before but was kept out of the loop as to its purpose. In an attempt to find out what he might be dealing with Park started blogging. At that point Park had his apartment broken into and eventually had his brake lines cut which prompted the gender-bending disguise. Park tells Sarah that he kept a piece of the metal.
Flashback to Riley and Jesse in the car together. Riley asks why Jesse picked her. Jesse, who doesn't answer, spots John and opens the door for Riley to head towards him.
As Riley comes out of the bathroom Cameron asks about her injury, then wants to see a star tattoo on the inside of her wrist. Cameron tells John she needs to speak with him and Riley leaves the room.
Ellison meets with his pastor, Jonas, telling him that though he and his wife each wanted a large family, she terminated a pregnancy after September 11th.
Sarah and Ellen arrive at a warehouse to find the piece of metal is missing. As they leave the building they are shot at by someone on a motorcycle. Sarah fires back, causing the attacker to briefly wreck, but the person is able to get back on the cycle and drive away.
The pair returns to Park's trailer. Park thinks Sarah must be connected to the military. Park tells her that though "they killed Alan Park" he is grateful for the opportunity to face his true self. Park was never told the location of the lab, but Sarah suggests the hypno-regression therapist, Dr. Morris, she met at the convention.
in a flashback Riley arrives at Jesse's hotel room, telling her she got kicked out her foster home for hitting her foster mother. Riley is freaking out because of the future she knows is coming and "needs" Jesse. After Riley suggests she leave school and move near Jesse, Jesse slaps Riley across the face and reminds her that the mission is to keep John away from Cameron.
Cameron tells John she thinks Riley has been lying. Cameron offers to get Riley to tell the truth but John tells her to "stay away from her." They break into the bathroom to find Riley barely conscious with her wrists cut.
Sarah disturbs a session run by Dr. Ross. Sarah hides a small listening device in Park's purse before he leaves with Ross.
Ellison talks with John Henry, attempting to explain to him the sacred nature of human life with a slant towards religion and faith. "Am I God's child?" Henry asks. "That's one of the things we're here to talk about," Ellison says.
With Sarah listening on a remote audio device in her car, Ross hypnotizes Park and starts talking about the lab's location. During the conversation she hears someone enter the room and fire several shots. Sarah races in and finds both Park and Ross dead.
Sarah re-listens to the audio of the hypnosis session and pieces together Park's story of being driven to the lab. Park's recollection is enough to help bring Sarah to a remote windowless building and sees someone get out a dark SUV and enter.
Sarah busts into the structure armed to the teeth and asks a lone man at a desk, "Where's the metal?" He claims to be a simple air conditioning installer who has no knowledge of what happens in the rest of the warehouse. But the second Sarah reaches for her bag the man pulls out a gun and shoots her in the upper thigh. The two struggle, with Sarah eventually killing him with his own gun.
Badly injured, Sarah has visions of herself with the knife and another one where she is dressed as a waitress and is beckoning her to the front door. Sarah struggles to drag most of her body outside the front door. She glances up into the sun and sees the same ship from all the Park's photos as her eyes close.
