Not bad, not great.

So, this movie is based on a true story and I actually know two of the people who were directly involved in the events that took place. The film is extremely accurate as to what took place with this family and most of the movie was actually well done. Yes, it is a B-list movie but the camera work, the editing, the acting is all surprisingly well done... EXCEPT for the accents. This might just be my own bias and my own experience but the accents are absolutely horribly done and made it hard for me to continue watching and finishing the movie.

With that being said, it's a decent Christian film and while it's far from being one of the best, it's also not one of the worst. When I first heard this story, it was amazing to hear how God worked through his people to get these kids to the church and later to be reunited with their mother. Overall, the pacing of the movie is way too slow and again... the accents... are atrocious.

A Must See Movie

An inspiring movie that shows what happens when we really put our trust in Jesus. Even though I cried a lot, it was a wonderful movie of how God will use us if we let Him. I always love it when movies are about real people in real life situations. This deals with the struggles of epic proportion that would be impossible to deal with without Christ. This movie is well written and the acting is very good. It is a valuable lesson in following the Holy Spirit as He guides them throughout this movie. I highly recommend it for everyone except young children. Perhaps in the early teens and up. I'd give more stars if they were available.

So well done

The script was great, the acting was great, and the movie gave me all the feels. It is not always an easy movie to watch, but a movie worth watching. Add it to your watch list today. You will not regret the time you spend engrossed in this storyline. Sadly human trafficking is alive and "well" today, and not just over "there" in Europe, but here in the big cities and small towns of America. I'm praying for an end to this evil practice. This is not a movie for small children, but a good one to watch with your teens, to spark discussions and prayer time within your family or church group. Rent it or go to the theater today, but definitely support this film.

Heartfelt!

Words can not describe how wonderful and heartfelt this movie is. George A. Johnson did terrific job. He and this family are certainly blessed. Not many movies bring tears to my eyes, but this one surely did with how heartfelt it was. You can feel God's presence all through this film.

I certainly and highly recommend seeing this movie. A majority of Christian films these days don't seem real, but this one will touch your heart. I've always heard Five stars being the highest rating, but I give this movie ten stars. I'm excited to see what all movies George A. Johnson comes up with next. Thank you.

Warning: Spoilers
This movie is a powerful story that shows how God is always in control and will use a heartfelt testimony to move on the hearts of very powerful people, who can pull strings to make things happen for you. The Divine intervention of the human trafficking movement portrayed in the movie is perceived as extremely powerful, powerful to the extent that it shows how God is able to orchestrate everything in a horrible situation through unusual people to work toward something good and beautiful when we love Him and accept His invitation to live according to His plan; as its interests are always met. The movie is set in the present-day rural Ukraine with the protagonist Anna, a Ukrainian homemaker mother with three children - Armen, Siran, and Hovan. The film provides a significant evaluation of the international crime of human trafficking portrayed in a Third World country by Russian gangsters who sold a woman into human trafficking and how they oppress unprivileged women. The main characters in the movie were Anna, Bedros, Anoush, Naomi, Armen, Siran, Hovan, Norm, and Pastor Bill. One of the things I have noticed in the character played by Brayden Eaton is based on Stanislavski's acting technique and his seven questions which, over the years have adapted from the 10 key acting questions every actor should answer in order to be a fully rounded and connected actor, that led him to become a fully rounded and connected actor as he played the character Armen. Armen is located in the third-world country of Ukraine, during modern-day times as he has just come from his rundown home. What does Armen want? My guess would be to get a chance, as I perceive why Armen would want it because he wants to get someone to put their trust in him for the reason being that he was seen as the protector of his siblings and he had no father present. So, why would Armen want it now? Probably because he wants to keep a promise to his mother. Yet, what will happen if Armen doesn't get it now? Armen will most likely feel like a letdown for not holding up his side of the deal. How will Armen get what he wants, by doing what? Armen will get what he wants by looking out for his siblings and protecting them. What must Armen overcome? Typically, 12-year-olds have moments of both acting like the child you have always known and suddenly turning into a little adult right in front of you, so I would say to get want he wants Armen must overcome the temptation to engage in some potentially impulsive behavior and his emotions. With this said, I would say that Brayden Eaton does fully transform into his character, Armen; as he shows hard work, technique, and good direction in every scene while staying truthfully and emotionally connected to his character, Armen. In my opinion, as the audience, I do see none of this, but the fully realized three-dimensional character of Armen right in the truth of the moment as I wasn't watching the actor but a witness to a trafficked victim who had the faith to keep his mother's promise when it hurt. In my opinion of the movie, for example, the trailer was powerful and deep and captured my attention from right off the bat. The soundtrack was inspiring and beautiful. The acting was strong, engaging, good, and complex, and had an impressive performance something that I could personally relate to in my own experiences. The dialogue and the writing gave the story an outstanding depth and thought-provoking appeal that made the actors sound intelligent because there are excellent scriptwriters at work. I loved this movie because it was raw, very natural, beautiful, and dynamically unique. This is one of the best human trafficking movies I ever heard, and that will for sure be a classic in any generation's movie collection. In conclusion, I would indeed recommend the movie because Pursuit of Freedom provides powerful insight into the world of the global organized crime of human trafficking, and the social and economic class system of Ukraine. Nevertheless, the film played favorably to those who fit in with the marginalized cultural group and empowered the oppressed over the powerful, in addition to the struggle with women's rights. It can also be noted that the film elaborates upon the ins and outs of culture and the working-class struggle, and what children of human trafficking victims go through.
