The first 2 seasons was broadcast by SBS One. For the third season, it was broadcast by Nine Network.
Along with the change of presenters and networks for the third season, there is also a re-design of the Top Gear test track, which is designed as a figure of 8 with 12 corners. Because of this re-design, the lap times from the previous seasons will have to be re-configured. This is being done by taking 5 cars from previous seasons and get The Stig to do the laps around the new test track and calculate the difference between the new and old lap times for each car.
Throughout the 3 seasons, there has been a change of presenters with the exception of Steve Pizzati. In season 1, it was Charlie Cox and Warren Brown with Steve Pizzati. Later in season 2, James Morrison replaces Charlie Cox. Then in season 3, 2 new presenters (comedian Shane Jacobson and editor Ewan Page) replaces Warren Brown and James Morrison.
