Howard gets dumped by Leslie Winkle and goes into deep depression. Sheldon suggests they go to Las Vegas. They leave but he has no intention of going. Howard mopes in his room while the other two try to score. Soon a hooker comes up to them and Leonard fends her off. But they have an idea to lift Howard's spirits. Meanwhile, Sheldon anticipates a night of freedom with great food and time alone. But he accidentally leaves his key in his apartment and can't get in. Penny reluctantly takes him in. Very funny episode.

Lol that was just hilarious, it had me in tears. This whole episode was brilliant, and it was nice to see Jodi-Lynne O'Keefe, even if she plays a prostitute.

The Vegas Renormalization is another great episode of "The Big Bang Theory"

Warning: Spoilers
This is another episode of "The Big Bang Theory" from last season I previously missed when it first aired that I'm now catching up with to prepare for the season premiere next Monday. Howard gets a call from Leslie and it makes him very depressed: She dumps him. And it's during "20 Questions" where Raj guesses Leonard's clues about C3PO when he mentions Sheldon's resemblance which makes the person in question blanch though he's partly flattered. He also mentions a place in Nevada where a new set of problems like "alcoholism, sexual diseases, and gambling addiction" would result. And just like that, Raj, Leonard, and Howard agree to "Vegas, baby!" (though Howard will tell his live-in mother "Sea World, baby!") With Sheldon by himself, he gets food that make his other friends uncomfortable and he is unusually cheery to Penny. That is, until Sheldon discovers he's without a key and so is Penny with the emergency one. Guess what happens? Meanwhile, Raj thinks he's getting lucky with a woman who approaches him until Leonard breaks his bubble with what her profession is. They later think she'd be perfect for Howard who's going on Leslie's Facebook page to exclaim HE dumped her...Another hilarious episode of "The Big Bang Theory" with Howard once again getting empathy whenever showing his vulnerabilities. And as always, it's always a treat to see Sheldon and Penny causing friction on each other though occasionally they do show some respect. I'll be back with another episode to review...

The Vegas Renormalization (#2.21)

The trip to Vegas was very fun. Howard's tweets and guys deciding to get him a prostitute because of it was just hilarious. The whole story was very fun. Penny and Sheldon staying together was just as good. Their talk about friends with benefits was perfect. Sheldon also made us laugh with his rhyming explanation of why he can't sleep on the couch. And we got some Soft Kitty in this episode as well.

I much preferred the Penny/Sheldon story to the other one, but overall this is another good example of the show from its 'early' years.

There's more than enough good lines here to entertain even the most subdued fan.
