Let's be honest, Bree is an emotionally abusive spouse and it's no wonder Orson is losing it. If a man talked to a woman in the same way Bree talks to Orson everyone would call him an abusive spouse. That's exactly what Bree is.
Bree's behavior towards her husband is absolutely despicable. Alex called it a few episodes ago but it's gotten worse. She doesn't care how he feels. She has no sympathy for him. Almost every word she says to him is disrespectful and degrading. She only cares about herself and her reputation. She pretends to be a moral person and it's laughable how much she is not.
First, I still can't get over the fact that she insisted Orson went to prison. Did she forget that her own son run over an elderly woman and left her to die in the street? Did she forget how she covered for him and disposed of evidence? Where does she get the moral authority to seat there and judge and pretend she is better than everybody else? I seriously hope Orson would get back at her for this.
Second, now that she's famous and rich she uses her money as leverage against others pretending she wants to help them. She did it to Alex and Lynette and she's doing it to Orson as well. Andrew isn't worth twice as much as Orson. She's paying so much because she wants to keep him close and happy. If he was really worth that much she wouldn't be hiding it from Orson.
Third, she doesn't care what is going on with Orson, her husband. His feelings and his suffering is irrelevant to her. She only cares that he wouldn't embarrassed her. I'm shocked at the way she's handling his kleptomania! She brought him to a therapist, didn't let him say a word and left. It was like she was bringing a toaster for repair. Here, it's broken, fix it and call me when it's ready. Shocking!
Last season Lynette was my least favorite housewife, now it's Bree. Truth be told the only housewife I really like is Gabby. Lynette is a user, Bree is a hypocrite, Susan's perkiness is getting on my nerves lately (she's getting to old for that) so that leaves Gabby and let's face it, Gabby, while much better, isn't really the nicest person so is this desperate housewives or despicable housewives?
I wish we'd see more real people like the character of Jessie. I really liked her. She didn't act like a stiff cartoon. I wasn't familiar with the actress who played this character but I thought she did a really good job! Thumbs up Swoosie Kurtz. Hope to see her again!
