Fun Game But...

Rec room is a super fun game with many player created rooms and tons of great original games but there are tons of glitches that ruin the experience. The game is also really poorly optimized for certain headsets and even on console. The community is also real bad. Full of little kids always screaming, swearing and complaining. The game creation tools are amazing and I've made it is super easy to learn. Although it can be hard to become popular because the creators favor already popular people and don't give smaller creators a chance to make it. Also the reporting system isn't useful at all. It says that there isn't any swearing or toxic behavior and you must be over 13 years old to make a account. These rules are always ignored and the creators never do anything about it. Some games are fun and a small part of the community is great and are inspired to make rec room a better place. But the creators aren't doing anything to fix bugs and enforcing the rules that they put together. Please do something to help your game!

TERRIBLE LANGUAGE/TARGETING

This app has terrible language. They claim this app is for kids and they couldn't be any more wrong. There is terrible language through every single quest. It's astonishing parents don't know what they're signing their kids up for because they themselves aren't going on the quests. Its truly sickening and the ratings needs to be readdressed! Also, it seems Rec Room has software which tracks what you say out loud because they often will include players which names are involving your topic of conversation enter games with you. This happens VERY often. AVOID this app- especially kids!!!

Hands down currently the best game on Oculus Quest 2.

Paintball and Laser Tag (two sub-games included in Rec Room) are pretty much all I play on Oculus.

I bought Population One, and tried a bunch of other free games like Echo VR and SuperHot, but I still like this game a lot better and find myself playing it a lot more.

I really wish whoever makes Rec Room would make more games as good as Laser Tag and Paintball, though.

Rec Room also has a lot of cool VR "experiments" and experiences you don't really find elsewhere.

Very good VR game for beginners and teens!

Rec Room is a excellent game to play if you are starting out playing VR, or just are looking for a good game to play! This game is not only on VR, it's on pc, mobile, Xbox, and PS4/5! Rec Room has you play or socialize with other people and with friends! The game also has proximity chat! Meaning that only people who are near you can hear you. If you don't want anyone to hear you, just go in settings and turn off your voice! Rec Room has a feature for underaged kids, where if your under the age of 13, you have to be on a junior account, having a junior account does take away some features a normal user would have, but it's for children's safety, junior accounts can't hear or talk to anyone. Rec Room also has the code of conduct. Which if you break, you have a small or high risk of being warned or banned from Rec Room, you'll either be temporarily or permanently banned, depending on what you did. Rec Room allows you to report, block, and vote kick other players who are being inappropriate, immature, and/or not following the code of conduct. Sure, as many reviewers have stated, Rec Room is bad and should not be for kids, which is a false statement, Rec Room can get inappropriate really fast, but if you know more on what Rec Room has to offer to help with your safety, Rec Room can be a really fun and cool place to play! If a child does end up not being on a junior account, they incorrectly put in their birth date accidentally or on purpose. Rec Room allows people to make amazing games of their own! Rec Room can be a fun place if you know where, and what to do! I've played a lot of Rec Room myself and so far it is really fun! There is a lot more to learn about Rec Room, so try playing it! It is a must play game!

You can play this on almost any device. VR or not.

I recommend avoiding the Rec Center, as it can be very toxic at times.

Fun if you find a good group of people

I've had very fun moments in this game meeting people. There are many games so the game never gets tedious. The only downside is how more then half the community is under the age of 10. It's a fun game when played with people who also like the game.
