They can call The Band Perry!
"We told them we would babysit if they ever need us to, so we are here, give us a call," singer Kimberly Perry told E! News last night in an exclusive chat during Fashion Rocks 2014 at Brooklyn's Barclays Center.
And they've had time to prepare! It turns out that Kimberly and siblings Neil and Reed Perry knew about their fellow country star's big news for a while before Carrie was ready to go public.

This…. is a big day for Ryan Seacrest.
The ubiquitous TV host has inked a deal to host and executive-produce a live Fashion Week special for CBS, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
With the addition of the Fashion Rocks telecast — Seacrest’s first on-air deal with CBS — he now has partnerships with all of the Big Four broadcast networks. (He just this week renewed his hosting gig at Fox’s American Idol, helps ABC ring in its New Year’s Rockin’ Eve and produces specials for NBC and its cable sibling E!)

First, the good news: Madonna's "Vogue" is still the definitive '90s dance classic, and I don't care about your counterarguments even if you're defending "Groove is in the Heart," "No Scrubs," "This is How We Do It," "Baby Got Back," or whatever. It's all about "Vogue." No song has more attitude, authority, winking self-absorption, and sheer dancefloor chutzpah. No song is gayer either, which helps. Anyway, the bad news: Katy Perry used a snippet of "Vogue" on her newest tour. Ugggggghhhhhh. Just because you do most of your dancing with your hands doesn't mean you are entitled to vogue. Check out the small Madonna tribute here. Of Madonna's huge hits, "Vogue" is probably the one that her most diehard fans tend to love most. It is the most Madonna of Madonna songs. It is the most "Love yourself as you worship me." As a fellow worshipper of the Lourdes,...

Rihanna, the Barbados-born bombshell who seems to release a new album every time I buy groceries, is one of the most accomplished Billboard superstars of all time, yet she's only been famous for seven years. Kind of ridiculous. She recenty released a new single, an understated jam called "Diamonds," and I think it's time we highlighted her all-time fierecest moments. Honestly, she's had a lot of them. It took me awhile to pare this list down. But without further ado, here are Rihanna's ten fiercest showings.
10. The lady mechanic swagger of "Shut Up and Drive"
In one of Rihanna's most underrated videos, the Bajan beaut struts around a lady-run auto body shop and lingers over engines like a hard-ass grease monkey. Ferocious, un-smiling, and fun. Sort of reminds me of Ciara's video for "Work," where she jives and gyrates on and around pieces of heavy machinery. That reminds me.

The website reported the news came from a "rock solid source" and stated Beyonce was "doing fine and resting." Her publicist, Alan Nierob, has issued a firm "no comment" on the story, adding, "We don't respond to private-matter inquiries." A representative for Beyonce's husband Jay-z has refused to respond to press queries.
Beyonce Knowles and Jay-z, who began dating in 2002, wed at a private ceremony in New York City on April 4, 2008. The singer showed off her wedding ring for the first time at the Fashion Rocks concert in New York on September 5, 2008.

After a five-year absence, veteran producer Don Mischer is returning to the "Primetime Emmy Awards" as executive producer of the upcoming 61st edition of the awards show, which will be broadcast Sunday, Sept. 20, on CBS.
"From the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics to the recent presidential inauguration at the Lincoln Memorial to Super Bowl halftime shows, Don Mischer is one of the great big-event producers of our time," CBS Entertainment president Nina Tassler said. "He knows how to bring excitement and pageantry to live events, and how to produce memorable moments on television."
CBS and the TV Academy said Mischer had presented them with new ideas for this year's telecast but wouldn't elaborate further.
At the helm of the Emmys, Mischer follows Ken Ehrlich, who exec produced the ceremony for the past four years, including last year's ill-fated experiment with the five nominated reality hosts as co-MCs.

British soul singer Adele had so much on her mind during last month's Grammys – such as, celebrating her best new artist victory – that she botched a meeting with one of her all-time favorites: Justin Timberlake. "Justin, I love you and I'm really sorry ... for making it seem like I didn't want to meet you," Adele Adkins, 20, tells People. "I really did – and I don't think we can ever be friends because you're just too much. You're too good!" As Adkins tells it, she was overcome with nerves when she came face to face with Timberlake at the ceremony in Los Angeles.
