The Chabad Telethon which was broadcast nationally on Sunday September 14, 2008 raised more than $8 million dollars.
The Chabad 'To Life' Telethon (2008) was broadcast Live and Nationally; including television networks: Los Angeles' KCAL (Channel 9), New York, New Jersy, and Connecticut's WLNY (Channel 55), San Francisco's KTSF (Channel 26), Las Vegas' KVMY (Channel 12), and San Diego's KUSI (Channel 9).
The Chabad To Life Telethon supports the largest network of educational and nonsectarian social services under Jewish auspices of the United States, including Chabad's national drug treatment and sober living centers, 200 community centers and outreach programs, senior citizen and new-immigrant assistance, crisis intervention and homeless programs.
