- Shinobu attempts to make sexual advances on Travis, but he turns her down, reasoning that he feels "like the pervy teacher in a porno".
- The Beam Katanas used throughout the game can all be seen as penis innuendos. The meter that represents the battery is displayed as a phallic figure that gets smaller and limper as the battery goes down, and the motion for recharging the katana (shaking it up and down) looks very similar to masturbation.
- Based On Trailer:
- Sylvia talks about their first encounter with Travis as being nothing. Travis holds his katana on his penis and Sylvia kisses the Katana. Then the Katana fires up resembling an erection.
Violence & Gore

- Over-the-top violence throughout. Killing an enemy will slice them in two, resulting in a shower of animated blood. However, the graphics are very cartoonish, so the amount of blood can be seen as comical.
- Based on Trailer:
- Japanese Version: After killing someone, you see their last motion, but in black pixie.
- American Version: Lots of blood, their entire body comes out of where they were cut.

- Profanity is used nonstop. The F word is used throughout the entire game, both in cutscenes and during gameplay. Additionally, an F-bomb is used in Travis's very first line.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

- If this were a movie, it would've been rated R for disturbing violent behavior, bloody images, pervasive language, some crude and sexual content, and a brief scene of nudity involving a child.
- The battles are very intense.
Spoilers
Sex & Nudity
- Travis and Sylvia have sex towards the end of the game, but the sex itself is shown offscreen.
- A child is shown naked during a cutscene after the fight against Rank 24: Matt Helms. No genitalia is seen, but buttocks can be seen briefly as he is running away.
Violence & Gore
- After the fight against Margaret Moonlight, her stomach is slashed open, resulting in her guts spilling out. Although the guts are cartoonish and not detailed, this is the most graphic scene in the game by far.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- The battle against Rank 24: Matt Helms can be very intense for many, due to Matt Helms's frightening appearance, and the fact that the battle takes place in an abandoned, run-down shack. The cutscene that plays after the fight can also be very shocking to some, as it shows a bloody child who threatens to kill Travis.
