This is one of the best documentaries about a country ever made. It shows the natural beauty of Romania, and how such a marvelous country can be so underrated . Charlie Ottley created this masterpiece and his team made an amazing and proffesional job.

I am a romanian and seeing this docu series just made me love my country more but also realize how little we appreciate it.
I really enjoyed the style, the filming and also the locations. Quite a few that I did not know about, and I've being living here all my life.
Well earned 10 out of 10

This is a wonderful series, informative, exceptional scenery. Loved it.
The only reason that I did not give 10 stars, is, as someone mentioned before, there's no mention about the hungarian culture (for the Transilvania episodes), also the turkish-tatar culture when it came to Dobrogea episode. Romania is a multicultural country, Dobrogea is a model for it mixture of ethnicities, it's a shame that is not mentioned. Every village has a mosque, some dating back to 1500, it's so unfair that it's not mentioned.

Historically incorrect

Full of historical mistakes. He should study more the history of a country and consult multiple sources before showcasing it to viewers outside Romania. The main focus should be on the traditional experience, the way of living in Romania. It should approach themes such as the Romanian hospitality, Romanians' ability to treat each moment as a funny one, relationship among people.
It is deeply disturbing to get such important historical facts (at least for us Romanians). It also under-plays the obvious conflict between Hungarians and Romanians regarding the right of territory, who came first, the linguistic issues and differences.
