This Episode Was Solid, Nothing More

I liked this episode. This is one of the weaker half-hour KND episodes in my opinion, but it still isn't bad at all. It has some stuff to like.

Senator Safely is concerned about the safety of kids everywhere, and he is given eleventy billion dollars to do something about it. He uses the money to create an army of safety bots who wrap anything potentially harmful to kids in bubble-wrap. However, things get out of hand, and the safety bots feel that most everything including adults are a threat to kids, and they are taking extreme measures to get rid of them.

The story of the episode is serviceable, and there is some good action, such as the chase scene midway through the episode.

It was nice that there was a dynamic between Numbuh Four and his little brother Joey. I also liked the ending where Joey tricked the safety bots into thinking they hurt him.

I have some issues with the episode. Senator Safely was kind of annoying at times, but his associates were complete jerks. I understand that the whole dynamic of the show is that there are adults who hope to make kids miserable, but the members of the Senate were completely shallow people who seem to have that and only that as their goal; just because it gives them pleasure.

I also found the scenes where Joey dances to be kind of disturbing to watch.

Overall, though, this episode was still solid overall. It may not be one of the better KND adventures, but it's still a KND adventure, and it most certainly won't waste your time.
