Warning: Spoilers
The subject is fascinating. As a fighter, the Curtis P-40 was obsolescent at the outbreak of the war. Once its limitations became recognized, it was given certain specified roles in combat. The Curtis company produced them through the early years of the war, constantly tweaking it and fiddling around, trying to iron out the bugs, but they never succeeded.

However, if the subject is worthwhile, this episode is almost worthless. I couldn't watch it through to the end. The editing is absolutely terrible. No shot seems to last longer than a second. Flashbulbs seem to keep going off. The camera yoyos and wobbles as if held by a drunk or a child with a new toy. The values reverse themselves, so that for an instant, black becomes white and vice versa. There are some printed panels describing the designs of aircraft but they're never on screen long enough to be read. Each cut is accompanied by a WHOOM on the sound track. This isn't a documentary about an iconic fighter. It's a rock concert.

Impossible.
