I rather enjoyed this second episode, it's very different to the exoticism of the first part. Reg is straight back on duty, the victim was rather signposted, but that didn't matter somehow. Reg is up against those that think they're beyond the law.
I was reminded a bit of episode Achilles Heel, it follows a similar, except that the crime takes place in the UK.
The Speaker of Mandarin gives us a very different Reg Wexford, here we see the robust figure quite vulnerable, and having to ask for help, it's not something we're used to.
My criticisms are that they seem to imply that Reg is somehow clairvoyant, and that green tea is somehow dangerous.
Thoroughly enjoyable, 8/10.
