The Shemira statue was carved a great 18th Century master and is coming to Japan. Zatch hears from Kiyo that he can experience 100 times the excitement of yellowtail. Zatch decides to go to the museum to see the statue. Mr. Goldo, and his mamodo companion, Danny, have transported the statue to Japan. Mr. Goldo calls Danny, "Danny Boy," and Danny does not appreciate being treated like a boy. Zatch comes to the museum and meets Danny. Danny takes Zatch to see the statue. However, gangsters have already snatched the artifact. Relying on Zatch's sense of smell, Mr. Goldo and Danny follow the statue. It has been loaded onto a ship in the harbor. Zatch and company storm onto the ship. Danny knocks out the gangsters one after another. Even if riddled with bullets, he is instantly healed by Mr. Goldo chanting a spell. This is the power of Danny's book. However, the gangsters realize this and Mr. Goldo is taken hostage. Kiyo rushes in and defeats the gangsters with Zatch's help. The police also arrive and the group is greatly relieved. Then, one of the gangsters escapes and crashes a tanker truck into the car carrying the Shemira statue. Danny holds up the tanker truck to protect the statue. If the truck falls, the statue will be destroyed. Danny shouts to Zatch for him to blast the truck with his Zaker spell. However, Danny's book will be destroyed. Mr. Goldo asks Zatch to send Danny back to the mamodo world as a brave mamodo. Zatch is strongly moved by these words and complies. Danny starts to vanish. Mr. Goldo calls him "Danny" for the first time and praises him for carrying out the job. Danny vanishes while sobbing with happiness.
