Great recovery from a disappointing 'God of war'

Warning: Spoilers
"Stateside" to save the day. This was a well-written episode with things we knew were coming and things that took us by surprise. Maybe I missed it but the Marsden letter was written by Ray?! I knew him and Clay felt strongly about the ambassador but I always felt Clay wrote the letter.

Talking one for the team: Clay as a second Gen frogman took one for the team because he learned first hand and through Jason the true meaning of being a team guy. He sacrificed his chance of STA-21(we know that was coming) by telling Lindell that he wrote the letter. I was surprised that Lindell took the chance of STA-21 from Clay because I felt Clay was beneficial to Lindell's career.

Matters of the heart Clay and D.C. Becks: We knew Rebbeca wanted a Navy officer on her arm to make them a political 'power couple'. When Rebecca asked Clay about the kiss I know it was all coming down for their relationship. I'm definitely going to rewatch that part after this review.

I'm glad Jason and Mandy are over. Second chance for Ensign Davies and Petty Officer Quinn 😉. Ray got his house and his promotion hopes are looking good. Can't wait for the real season 4 to start.

Ding Dong ----- Is Finally Gone!!!
spasek9 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This was already a thoroughly engrossing episode, focused on Jason Hayes, as he vividly recalls his tours under his first team leader, and how he's changed from that point in time to now.

But, the REAL news is that Mandy is finally gone! Thank God! If SEAL Team had one, major fault, it was in hiring Jessica Pare to play a CIA operative. She was as believeable as asking Donald Duck to portray a Jedi Knight. Yes, she was THAT awful at her role.

I hope they can find someone who actually KNOWS how to act the part. Jennifer Beals was masterful in the series, "Taken." In fact, that was how Mandy should have been.

All in all, my Christmas came early this year!

A great episode to start the new season. I never saw Jason's announcement coming tbh, but you can't do the job forever.

Been a long time since I was glued to the TV. Great to do an episode around the dogs that saved soldiers lives. All in it were great.

Best season opening in all the dross.

First of hats off to the makers, this is the last stand of Man Shows, undiluted and still pure from the evils of WOKE, snowflakes and peculiar folk. The budget has defo gone up and every actor shines due to bump. Cerberus stole the show. Cried at Hayes obi-Wan beard.

Comedy for anybody that survived Afghanistan

Facts From Firsthand Experience and Firsthand Observations

Actual Afghanistan is NOT like "Filming Locations: CBS Studio Center - 4024 Radford Avenue, Studio City, Los Angeles, California, USA"

Having been at the Hindu Kush, and Pamir Mountains Afghanistan since 1983 to 1984 as CIA Operation Cyclone, September 2001 Our Surviving Afghan Muhajeen as the Northern Alliance Versus the Pro U.S.S.R Afghans that became the Afghan Taliban, 2005 to ?. Conducting High Altitude Mountain Warfare including Arctic Winter Warfare.

There is no place at the U.S. that is even close to the Killer of Hindus (The Hindu Kush) and the Pamir (Roof of the World). Especially during the below Zero Temperatures, avalanches, razor sharp rocks, etc..

Roads almost none. Mostly only shoulder width goat trails, you cannot even get a mountain bicycle on those goat trails, handle bars would hit and get stuck between two or more boulders.

From CIA Operation Cyclone of Us U.S. Army Special Forces training, arming, then each Team Member leading Pro U.S. 12 Afghan Muhajeen Teams (that later became the Northern Alliance) to kill U.S.S.R. and Pro U.S.S.R. Afghans that later became the Afghan Taliban, we found out from the Thousands of Miles of HUGE Mining Tunnels and Even Entire Villages craved into stone inside and some underneath the Mountains. As how during the day we could move undetected by the U.S.S.R..

There are also the connected to streams tunnels that connect to the Afghan water wells. 6 feet to 8 feet wide about 10 feet tall. As to how at night we appeared inside U.S.S.R. Bases built around the Afghan water wells, then after lots of killing and setting explosive we disappeared.

I already previously mentioned how the Afghan Taliban DO NOT do World War One Human Wave Attacks. Instead they remain Out of Range of the M-4s (250 meters), M-16s (350 meters), and fire from 400 meters to 700 meters first with RPG-7s range 800 meters, 12.7mm Machine Guns, AK-47s range 800 meters and the SVD 1 Semi Automatic Sniper Rifle range 1,200 meters.

Having been there before CIA Operation Cyclone, we having been Trained U.S. Army Mountain Warfare School (Technical Mountain Climbing, Summer and Winter Phases), U.S. Army Arctic and Winter Warfare School, Experienced. When we returned, we went Spelunking into the Thousands of Miles of Mining Tunnels searching for Afghan Taliban, Al Quada, Haqquini Network, Pakistanis Taliban, and the recent Islamic State Afghanistan. I mentioned before NOT "Caves", many Afghans to Survive the U.S.S.R. Occupation, moved their Entire Village into the Mining Tunnels adobe bricked the Tunnel entrances leaving only a small door that they camouflaged, as basically nearly bomb proof as the U.S.S.R. went nuts and started Carpet Bombing everywhere. To survive the Afghans even built entire Villages including a hospital and mosque carved into stone under Mountains and In Mountains.
