I was pumped up for this halftime show. I had been watching numerous interviews of The Weeknd and of executive producers and they said that he would be all around the stadium. And boy, did that get my hopes up for something that could possibly even beat Katy Perry (she is my favorite halftime show performer). I expected The Weeknd performing all across Raymond James Stadium, and what I ended up getting was him performing on and inside this stage (and don't get me wrong, it was a cool stage) right next to one of the jumbotrons for a majority of the show and then singing "Blinding Lights" on the field at the end. I may sound like I'm trying to tear this thing apart, but I thought that it was good, just not as good as I expected. Still, it's not as bad as The Black Eyed Peas halftime show.
