- there are a few instances of nudity including rear nudity of a child, but nothing too extreme.

- Rowan has autism and frequently has meltdowns where he sometimes slaps or bites himself.
- in one part of the film as part of a shamanic ritual Rowan's parents must hold still and not scream while they are being lashed quite hard
Profanity

- apart from anything else the language of this film is perhaps it's worst feature such as swear words typically only found in R rated films.
- quite a few F's including one MF and BS, S--T. Christ and Jesus Christ.

- during a shamanic ceremony a vodka bottle is seen, but it is unknown if it actually contains vodka. also during the ceremony Rowan is given a small cup of horse's milk which might also be fermented.
