A perfect production by the BBC. Closer to Anne's diary then any other production that has come before. Alternately amusing, sweet, thought-provoking, terrifying, tense and moving. This perfectly captures the feel of Anne Frank's diary and is brilliantly acted by all concerned, in particular to the young actress who plays Anne. A triumph for all concerned and should be watched by children everywhere throughout the world. The cast is exactly how I pictured all the people when I first read her diary many years ago. The reproduction of the attic in which the Frank family and their friends lived for 2 years is highly accurate as anyone who has visited the Anne Frank museum in Holland will testify.
