This was genuinely dull, a movie with close to no plot, showing absolutely every day to day indoors activity and offering the most basic ending possible.
The House Guest is a small horror project that went terribly wrong, one that relied on a one man show, with wooden acting, scenes that do not interact with the viewer whatsoever, you could literally hear the clock in your room over this film because while you do look at the screen, you simply zone out. A movie that offers nothing is a rare thing indeed, so of course I couldn't possibly recommend it, go and try an in the woods slasher, a zombie gore experience, anything but this.
It was honestly difficult to make it all the way through, but I did so, and I hope in this way I can help you not to repeat the same mistake I did. Believe me, I'm a huge horror fanatic, but this one, will not enrich your horror list.
