Welcome To Taormina

Wow! Kudos to director Adam Arkin on this episode. I love how they sneak lines from the film into the making of the film.

Once again Miles Teller (Al Ruddy), Matthew Goode (Robert Evans) Burn Gorman (Charlie Bluhdorn) and Juno Temple (Bettye) shine. Teller is especially strong. But, finally, Colin Hanks gets a meaty episode and sort of steals this one.

The trip to Sicily is short and sweet and was filmed in California. It also provided some fun. As does the 'special screening.'

And when we finally get to hear that incredible theme music, it's quite special. I'm surprised they didn't give the composer, Nino Rota, some accolades as the music is an essential and iconic part of the film.

I'll be sad to see this end next week.

A culmination of heartfelt emotions, enhanced by a beautiful music score

Warning: Spoilers
Yes, "The Offer" undoubtedly took many artistic liberties to tell the amazing true story behind "The Godfather", but it also balances fact and fiction in such an endearing way that I just take this series for what it is: a love letter to a fantastic movie and a deserved homage to the visionaries behind the screen. They made sure the world got to see everybody and everything on the screen.

Miles Teller has definitely grown on me through this series, as has Dan Fogler. Matthew Goode should certainly be sweeping the awards ... or else, paizano!

And much like Nino Rotta added soul to "The Godfather", the wonderful score by Isabella Summers is a big warm hug to this delightful TV project.

I'm already missing "The Offer" and we still have the final part to go.

Best episode yet. Some famous scenes in Sicily are recreated or referenced effectively. I rewatched the original over the weekend which made this episode even more enjoyable. PS won't lie - I really like Juno Temple.

Warning: Spoilers
Matthew is SUBLIME in this episode. When his character surprisingly returned, that was a moment of impact in a show that is great but not, too me, one that evokes emotion (except the joy of how great it is).

Happy to see the work of Fiction end.

Wow!! What a laugh. Ruddy was never on the set according to Francis Ford Coppola & Bob Evans. Can't believe they greenlit this show. Nothing about it is true, except the fact The Godfather was made. But with no help from Ruddy.

Ruddy must be a major tool. He waited for everyone involved with actually making the movie to be dead to make up his own story. What a straight lame!

This is the most fictionalized story I've ever seen in my life.

As a huge fan of The Godfather this show makes me roll my eyes to the back of my head. Every single thing about this show is laughable but I like it for what it is. I wish they showed more of the actual filming than the god awful mob storyline. The screening at the end was the chiefs kiss to how absolutely bad this show is.
