Ballpark Film Distributors has acquired all UK rights to Nick Mead’s The Last American Outlaw.
The film follows George Christie, the longest-serving Hells Angel president, as he rides across America seeing if it measures up to be the ‘land of the free’ that he imagines.
“We’d got as far as Arizona when George was arrested by the FBI and subsequently held under house arrest for 18 months,” said director Mead. “The cameras kept rolling, even when the Da’s office offered to drop all charges against him if he turned informer against the Hells Angels.”
The film is set to be releaed theatrically in the UK and Ireland in summer 2104, to coincide with Christie’s release from jail.
