Well, this was a welcome improvement over the pilot. Sometimes shows just struggle out of the gate to find their footing and establish the characters and the setting, but this was actually funny, which I cannot say about the first episode.
They managed to get back in the thick of things and figure out what the show should be: focusing on the musical comeback, not the odd lives of the former stars.
An endearing ending with the live performance from the mall, only for it to be quickly removed from the internet.
Looking forward to seeing how the rest of the season plays out but this gave me a lot of hope.
