E! Mysteries & Scandals: Charlie Chaplin (1998)

Bonnie McCourt (Chaplin expert), Joyce Milton (author), Wes Gehring (author), Anthony Slide (film historian), Robert Wise and Steven Weissmann (author) are just a few of the people interviewed to discuss the legendary career of Charles Chaplin. Not just his films of course but also his thing for underage girls.

Chaplin will always be remembered as a genius but as this episode points out, there were many questionable things that he did including various affairs with "young" girls as well as a now notorious paternity test. All of this led to Chaplin pretty much being kicked out of America and this episode does a very good job at explaining everything that happened to the legend. The interviews with all the authors are quite good and they go into great detail about Chaplin's life and fall from grace.
