Venomous, hate filled, brilliant.

May has moved in with June, and is slowly starting to stick the knife into her sister, subtly snapping and weaving a web.

Part two is so good, so incredibly good, it's such a twisted story, it begs the question, is June getting what she deserves, should she have put her sister first, or should May have gotten over the betrayal, moved on, and wished her sister all the best. The pair share some incredible scenes, the final showdown between the pair is a superb moment, the heat and venom all comes out.

The village is glorious, it's a stunning setting. It looks amazing, and is a lot easier to follow then the first part, there is no jumping backwards and forth, compelling drama.

Phoebe Nicholls again is a joy to watch, her performance is captivating. All are good, but she steals it.

Favourite scene, the turn of the head in that hat, expertly done. 9/10

May and June: Part Two

Warning: Spoilers
May and June was certainly a strange thriller. I kept wondering if there would be some twist.

June cannot be so naive. Not recognise the latent vindictiveness hidung inside her sister's skin. Every so often it bubbles out.

June even changes her will to make May her main beneficiary.

I thought June might be playing her sister along, knowing how May really felt about her.

That would had been too clever or cunning for this adaptation.

It is a straight revenge story. May arouses the interest of John Dyson. He drops some titbits about the state of June's marriage. It seems June and her husband led separate lives.

With May and John having an affair. It leads June to get jealous as she also had a think him and it seemed they too might have been close once.

Eventually it all boiled over to melodrama and murder. There were no smart twists. May was unhinged and got what she wanted. I was left unimpressed.
