• Silver Cyclone : [holding the Phase Oscillator]  We have what we came for, Owlman, Blue Bowman, Scarlet Scarab. With this we can reach other worlds, infinite Earths parallel to our own.

  Owlman : Then a new frontier has opened for business, Silver Cyclone. And the Injustice Syndicate is about to stage a hostile takeover.

• Blue Bowman : [Batman has entered the parallel world disguised as Owlman]  Does that mean the dingus works as advertised?

  [the Injustice Syndicate appear behind Batman] 

  Batman : [thinking]  The resemblance to my friends is uncanny. Like looking into a funhouse mirror... of evil.

  Scarlet Scarab : Enough with the suspense. When do we pencil in the invasion?

  Batman : Bad news. That world is far too dangerous to invade. Everyone there has powers.

  Silver Cyclone : Which would explain Red Hood's futile attempt to seek help there.

  Batman : We need to rethink our plan.

  [throws the Phase Oscillator to Scarlet Scarab] 

  Scarlet Scarab : You're the boss.

  Batman : [thinking]  Something tells me it's not going to be this easy.

  Silver Cyclone : Then since Plan A is not viable, we move on to Plan B.

  Batman : [thinking]  I hate it when I'm right.

  Scarlet Scarab : Plan B? But guys, we can't be serious about using Cyclone's bomb to wipe out their entire planet.

  Blue Bowman : And why not?

  Scarlet Scarab : Because after that, what other crime could possibly taste as sweet?

• Silver Cyclone : [he and the rest of the Injustice Syndicate confront Batman and Red Hood]  Declaration: You are outnumbered.

  Batman : Declaration: Not for long.

  [releases the other heroes] 

• Blue Bowman : [after Silver Cyclone reveals his betrayal]  You backstabbing-!

  Silver Cyclone : Robot? It's true. I do hate all humans. Whichever world is destroyed, I look forward to an empty planet to call my own.

  [Red Hood throws a red spade into Cyclone's head, destroying it] 

  Red Hood : Who's broken now, Cyclone?

• Batman : Details. I require details.

  Batman : Hood, I'm in the mess hall. Now where?

  Red Hood : Fine, but let me catch my breath. I'm really exhausted.

  Batman : Exhausted?

  [spotting a ventilation shaft in the ceiling] 

  Batman : Exhaust port.

  Silver Cyclone : Observation: left, right, south. Your responses contain a statistically improbable number of these words. Keeping me distracted as you pass coded instructions to your ally.

• Red Hood : My comrades have been captured, but I have eluded our hated enemies. And now, after one final test of my phase oscillator, I will use a wormhole to find allies on a parallel Earth.

  [opening a breach and throwing a red spade in] 

  Red Hood : Good. It made it to the other side. Dimensional wave is holding steady.

  [hearing something and looking around] 

  Red Hood : Huh? Which is more than I can say for my nerves.

  Owlman : You'd have to be crazy not to be nervous.

  Blue Bowman : With all of us after you.

  Silver Cyclone : Declaration: hand us the phase oscillator, or force will be required.

  Red Hood : Oh, I believe force will definitely be required.

• Batman : Red Hood, change in plans. I'm coming to you. But I need directions.

  Red Hood : I'll tell you whatever I can.

  Silver Cyclone : Yes, you will.

  Batman : I'm in a long, curving corridor on the 50th floor, northeast sector.

  Silver Cyclone : What was your plan to defeat us?

  Red Hood : There were just five steps left. But then you found me, and the plan went south.

  Batman : Five steps to the left, then turn south. Got it.

  Red Hood : And not just south. We're talking right into a huge mess.

• Silver Cyclone : Proclamation: before our plan is set in motion, you will tell us if you left any surprises for us in this other world.

  Red Hood : What? Don't like surprises?

  [getting electrocuted, he laughs] 

  Red Hood : It tickles.

  Silver Cyclone : Observation: your spirit is stronger than most humans. Even when we found your hideout in the Ace Chemical Plant, you fought valiantly. Ultimately, it was a futile gesture.

  Red Hood : [in flashback, getting dropped into a vat of chemicals]  No. No. No!

  Silver Cyclone : But your psyche, though bent, did not break when faced with horrible disfigurement. You even managed to rally a pathetic ragtag group of heroes in a final stand against the Injustice Syndicate. And then, when all your allies fell, you still believed that you could somehow save this world. But all humans can be broken, and I intend to break you.

  [he electrocutes Red Hood again] 

  Silver Cyclone : Interrogative: tell me what you know.

  Batman : [over Hood's earpiece]  Stay strong, soldier. The fate of both our worlds hangs in the balance. But if he wants you to talk, then talk.

  Red Hood : Just tell me what you want from me.

  Silver Cyclone : Excellent.

• Blue Bowman : [Silver Cyclone activates a bomb]  Open the wormhole, Cyclone. Destroy Batman's world.

  Silver Cyclone : Unfortunately, the phase oscillator is no longer in my possession.

  Blue Bowman : Well, then deactivate it before it blows us all to bits.

  Silver Cyclone : Revelation: your concern for all of us is misplaced. The bomb only irradiates organic tissue.

• Batman : There's not a simpler way to do this?

  Silver Cyclone : Declaration: to rid that other Earth's human infestation, my bomb requires our world's sole sample of Promethium-90. Thus the need for our raid on the nuclear laboratory.

  Blue Bowman : What are you worried about anyway, Owlman? It's not like there's anyone to stop us.

  Batman : I'm worried I'm gonna have to pick up your slack like I always do.

  [thinking] 

  Batman : A world without heroes: my worst nightmare.
