Beverly Hills Scandal

E! Mysteries & Scandals: Beverly Hills Babylon (2000)

Marc Wanamaker (historian), Scott Huver (journalist), Curtis Duncan (tour guide), Janet Leigh, Roy Moseley (biographer) and Diane Bennet (resident) are interviewed about various scandals that hit Beverly Hills.

We start off with a brief idea of what Beverly Hills is and how it became the mecca for rich people. From here we learn about various scandals that have struck the city over the years. This includes the Fairbanks-Pickford love affair, the murder of Edward Doheny's son, John Bennett's love triangle, Lana Turner's daughter, Charles Manson, the Menendez Brothers and recent events like Zsa Zsa Gabor's police slap and George Michael's bathroom arrest.

For the most part this is an entertaining episode that talks about some of the various negative things that have happened. There's really nothing overly interesting here as a few of the stories have been dealt with in other episodes. Each story only gets a couple minutes running time so there aren't any great details given.
