Fiona Wallice has her Punk'd moment where I can see her dealing with an issue seriously for the first time but getting the most unexpected results she can imagine. She does everything right this time for her patients – questioning them, consulting them and asking them to bring their parents so that their issue is resolved. But all her efforts (and she has actually made efforts this time) fall flat when their true identity is exposed, thus the title 'Exposing the Truth'.
Until the end, I really thought the writers had changed their approach towards the show and had decided to make it an educational one – the girl says she is a porn adult film star while the guy identifies himself as an unemployed scriptwriter. Both want to marry but the guy's parents are Fundamental Mormons (he has one father and 5 mothers), and they need Fiona's help here.
I have to say the show was fairly watchable for the first two episodes; although the jokes were very limited, the message was sincere. Then came the twist in the tale and I really liked it, but then, Lisa opened her mouth and kept rambling on and on. Lisa's delivery is so lazy and ineffective that it really becomes a bore when she her talk exceeds a few seconds. Vocal lessons!!
However, the episodes were better than expected though they were short on humor. I hope the subsequent seasons have better actors and more improvised humor, because I'm going to watch all the episodes for sure.
