Ike looks over the alien treaty, but then tells the others that he can't do it. As the alien possessing Mamie looks on, Ike says that he's condemning millions of Americans to torture Mamie says that he's a stupid fool, and says that they will need Ike's signature if he tries to renege on the deal. She also says the aliens will kill Mamie if Ike doesn't sign, and tortures Mamie until Ike signs. When he does, Mamie drops to the floor, unpossessed.
Later, Ike receives a report that the aliens have abducted people from their homes.
Three Years Later
Ike is told that there have been 298 incursions over the last three years, but they've never heard anything from the aliens. The President wonders if the aliens have betrayed him, and Nixon tells him that it isn't the time for snap judgments. Outside on the White House lawn, a man appears in a burst of light. Gunshots ring out, and Ike is informed that they have an intruder.
The man telekinetically knocks Secret Service agents away, and goes into the Oval Office. He introduces himself as Valiant Thor, a "liaison", and he's there to process the abductees by creating hybrids of humans and aliens. Thor opens the top of his skull, revealing technology inside, and then says that he's there to give the humans the technology they promised. He opens his case and reveals an iPod, and explains that it's more powerful than the current computers. Thor closes the case and asks if they want "the future".
Later, Ike finds Mamie decorating for Halloween, and says that she's going to make holiday less juvenile. She says that people will love her more than Eleanor Roosevelt. Ike says that it isn't time, and Mamie tells him not to be such a gloomy Gus before walking away.
Later, Ike is reading a newspaper story about one of the abducted girls, Caroline Gibbons, when he hears someone screaming from the basement, through the vent. He goes to the steam tunnels, following the sound, and finds a door behind some crates. Pushing the crates aside, Ike finds a scanner on the door. When he puts his hand to it, the door opens and Ike goes in. The door closes behind him, and he realizes that he's in an elevator.
When the elevator stops descending, Ike steps out and continues following the screams. One captive slams again a window, begging for help. An assistant takes him away, and Thor arrives and says that Ike's visit wasn't supposed to be there for another few weeks.
Thor says the captive is a "respiratory experiment", and the tunnels were part of a fallout shelter Ike didn't know about. The alien says that it was the perfect place to conduct their experiments, and shows Ike tanks full of alien fetuses. Thor says that the experiments are progressing slowly because of the differences between the two species. He explains that the aliens haven't revealed their human forms to Ike because they figured he might call the deal off. When Ike says that he might anyway, Thor advises against it, and says that his superiors don't want to go to the Russians, who are technologically behind the Americans. Instead they'll take what they want by force, and Thor tells Ike that Ike doesn't want that. Ike sees the girl from the newspaper story, unconscious and on a table with tubes running into her.
When Ike goes back to the White House, he has breakfast with Mamie and tells him what he's seen. She isn't concerned about the experiments, and says that Ike's pall is casting a cloud on the place. Mamie suggests that Ike move the aliens to an expanded facility in Nevada.
Later, Ike gives the aliens 38,000 acres in Nevada, and it is currently designated Area 51. Once Thor leaves, Ike says that the secrets of the arrangement will remain in the room.
That night, Ike finds Mamie having sex with Thor in their bed. He faints, and when he wakes up Mamie tells him that it actually happened. She says that she felt the same as Ike does when he was overseas during the war, and had his affairs.
Five Years Later
Hoover sends Ike and Nixon filmed footage of Marilyn Monroe during a photoshoot, talking about the aliens. Ike figures that no one is taking Marilyn seriously, and Nixon says that she only needs one sympathetic listener. He "floats the idea" that Marilyn might overdose on pills and alcohol.
At home, Marilyn is trying to reach Jack, His secretary Evelyn won't put Marilyn through. After Evelyn hangs up, Marilyn hears something outside and goes to the window. Two humans come up behind her, shoves her on the bed, and force feed her pills and alcohol.
Later, Kennedy learns from the newspaper that Marilyn is dead. A drunken Nixon calls and offers his condolences. Kennedy suspects Nixon had something to do with Marilyn's death, and tells Kennedy that Marilyn knew about a lot of stuff she shouldn't have heard. He tells Kennedy to check the pillow talk in the future. Kennedy hangs up on him.
One Year Later
Ike and his entourage drive to Area 51 and meet the new President, Lyndon Johnson. Thor comes over and introduces himself, and tells him he might need his sense of humor. He leads them into a hangar, and Johnson looks at the experiments in shock while Ike wonders what he has done.
The Present
Troy screams and begs Theta for something for the pain. As the fetus moves inside of Troy's stomach, Theta uses a device to paralyze and eliminate Troy's pain, then telepathically tells him that he will be a savior of the race. She cuts open his stomach and removes the fetus, and an assistant takes it to an incubator and cuts the sac away. The assistant says that it's stable but the physical abnormalities are disturbing. Troy asks to hold it, but Theta tells him that it is close and will be strong.
Troy gets a glimpse of the alien baby, screams as they cut its throat, and gets up. Theta renders him unconscious with a gesture.
One week later, Troy goes to the common room. Cal and the others see him and go over to hug him. He tells them that he had the baby, and they murdered it. The group has Troy sit down and tell them everything, and they cut him open and took the baby out. Troy says that he and Cal had a baby, and he felt it was his and he would do anything to protect it.
As Jamie wonders what they're going to do next, Calico comes over and tells them that this is their lives from now on. She says that no one has ever escaped from Area 51. Troy asks how many babies she's given birth to, and Calico tells them that she's been there since 1969 and had two or three "pups" per year. The woman says that she might seem cold and heartless, but is adaptable. Calico says that she was a nobody but now she's an integral part of the evolutionary line.
Kendall wonders how Calico hasn't gone insane. Calico takes them to a set where a mock-up of the landing is there. She says that the U.S. faked the moon landing about 50 years ago, when they abducted her.
1969
Calico is working as a prostitute and waitress in a bar. One night at the end of her shift, she sees Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong sitting in a booth, even though they had supposedly left for space a few days ago. Calico takes drinks over to them and they talk about how they're faking the moon landing.
Present Day
Calico says that they came and took her while she had Buzz and Neil as her Johns, drugged her, and took her to a white room. She was drugged and pregnant, and left on her own. She came to the studio and saw director Stanley Kubrick directing the fake moon landing. Then an agent grabbed Calico from behind and drugged her.
Kendall wonders why they faked the moon landing, and Calico explains that the government and the aliens used it to slowly acclimate the human race into accepting the advanced technology.
Calico leaves and the others hold hands. Kendall figures that at least they have each other, on the "moon".
Later in the common room, Troy finds Cal. Cal tells his lover that he thinks it's time, and he's not ready for them to take his child. He wants a little more time, and Troy offers to give them more time. Troy helps Cal out and takes him to the studio, and Cal moans in pain as he goes into labor. They go onto the moon and Troy says that he stole a scalpel, and says that he will cut the baby out of Cal so no one can split up our baby. Troy insists that their captors will keep their babies unless they stop them, and tells Cal not to scream.
Cal lays back, and Troy gives him a cloth to work on and starts cutting. He takes the baby out and pulls away the sac, then shows the crying baby to Cal. They promise they won't let anything happen to it, and the bottom half of the baby is octopus-like. It grabs Cal by the fact, and Troy tries to pull it away.
